ABOUT ME

Meet Taylor Brinkmann!
I was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Northwest Arkansas. Growing up, I attended Rogers Public Schools, where I eventually graduated from Rogers Heritage High School in 2020 (yes, the year of COVID). Throughout most of my upbringing, I lived with both of my divorced parents, switching off between their houses every week. Despite this challenge, both of them have been huge supporters in my life and have always been there for me. Without them, I would not be the person I am today. Because of them, I am a hard worker, unique, and even more. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, baking, reading, and organizing. I also enjoy walking my dogs, and I am also passionate about interior design.
Throughout high school, I was very active in getting involved in school activities. I was a member of several clubs, including the National Honors Society and National Beta Club. I also played tennis and soccer: I lettered in varsity for both sports. However, my proudest achievement was graduating third in my class out of 464 students. I worked really hard to keep my grades up, and I also challenged myself with more difficult classes. Because of all of my hard work, I was granted the opportunity to attend the University of Arkansas on a full-ride. I was rewarded the Governor's Distinguished Scholarship ($10,000 a year) and the Honors College Fellowship ($18,000 a year) for my accomplishments and work ethic.
Currently, I am an Honors student at the University of Arkansas pursuing a major in Accounting and possibly adding a major in Economics and minor in Spanish. I hope to pursue a career working with numbers and systems: I like working with both of these and structures (I am a very organized person). Unfortunately, due to COVID, my freshman year of college was fully remote (online), but I was still able to maintain a 3.9 cumulative GPA, as well as join the Honors College Ambassador program.
